With the start of the 2023 baseball/softball season quickly approaching, the O’Fallon Community Athletic Club is looking for youth 14 years of age or older and adults alike, to serve as umpires. 

Umpires are an important element in baseball/softball. Without umpires there are no games. Umpires are needed to ensure fair play, without fair play there is no fun.  Umpires are required to have a love of baseball/softball, have confidence & pride, hustle, be mentally alert, have a sense of fair play & impartialness and be willing to learn.   

Training will be provided thru attendance of umpire clinics host by the OCAC. Successful completion of these clinics is a requirement to umpire OCAC games. 

If you are interested in becoming an umpire please email:umpires@ocac-ofallon.com. These clinics can serve as the basis to attain higher umpiring certification should you wish to pursue it.
